Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing you order with Flags and Flagpoles. Acceptance of your order is on the understanding that you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Passing of Title and Risk
The risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery. All goods delivered or not remain our property until payment is received in full.

Prices and Payment
All prices quoted are subject to V.A.T. at the current rate. Essex Flags reserve the right to change prices at anytime. If the price advertised is incorrect to typographical errors we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed prior to the contract being entered.

Credit/Debit Card Payments
All prices are shown in GBP sterling. We accept most major credit/debit cards with the exception of American Express. There are no transaction fees, the price you see on the screen is the price you pay. The merchant name ESSEXFLAGS.COM will appear on your statement.

Essex Flags must agree all cancellations. Cancellation charges may apply if any costs have been incurred up to the point of cancellation.

Artwork and Printing
All artwork and print charges will be levied where necessary unless previously stipulated by us. Where applicable the prices shown include printing in one colour, one position from camera-ready artwork supplied. For additional colours of printing please phone to obtain an exact quotation. We will match your own house colours as close as possible but where you specify exact PMS colour matching, there will be an additional special match charge.

All printed orders require a screen, plate, die or jacquard. These are chargeable at the time of ordering (and reordering of screens). All screens, plates, dies and jacquards remain our property.

Force Majeure
We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in carrying out our obligations under the contract arising out of any cause outside our reasonable control. Or by inability to procure materials or articles except at higher prices due to any such cause and in such circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate in whole or in part without incurring any liability whatsoever to you.

Please Note – The products shown have not necessarily been supplied to or endorsed by the companies whose names and logos have been used. The printing of such is a guide to position and printing effect only. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Our environmental policy – Fabrics and Inks
On the 1st January 2007 new legislation 2004/42/CE entered into force in all the European Union countries. It concerns emission limits in the atmosphere of solvents used in products such as printing inks. Our textile and Dye sublimation printing equipment use water based dye disperse inks. By moving to these inks we are committed to reducing our emissions of solvents from printing inks. We also use 100% polyester fabrics for all our direct to textile and dye sublimation printing. Polyester fibres can be recycled and used to create new material or combined with other polymers to create a wide variety of plastic products. As part of our environmental policy we are committed to reducing our use of solvent inks and non-recyclable materials.

Items returned because they are damaged or incorrect

If you are returning an item that has been delivered to you in error, by Essex Flags or returning a damaged item. We will refund you the full cost of the goods and any carriage charges incurred in sending the item to you.

Essex Flags will always check all goods returned to us as damaged. In the event that we find nothing wrong with the product we reserve the right to resend the product to you and to recover from you any additional charges involved in doing so.

Items returned within 14 days of receipt of order.

If you are returning an item to us because of an error on your part, or because you wish to withdraw from the purchase of the sale and there is no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item as below;

When the goods are returned to us in accordance with our returns policy, we will refund the cost of the goods less a 10% administration charge for restocking the goods. Minimum charge of £10 applies. Any carriage costs charged for sending the goods to you won’t be refunded.

Where you cannot send an item back to us and we collect the item, we will recover the costs of the collection from you.

Please note all goods returned must be in the packaging they were sent in and the goods must be in their original condition.

Once returned goods are received they are examined and any credit will be determined upon examination.
